Every year, the participants of our master classes and the Young Artist Platform stay with host families. They come to your home to catch their breath after a day's intensive work. As a host family, you get a unique insight into the lives of young musicians. Offer the future of song a welcome home and sign up!
We are looking for accommodation for 24 young musicians.
Because it is impossible to organise a successful festival without the support of host families.
So have you one or two guest rooms to accommodate a song duo (2 people) and the possibility of offering them breakfast? We'd love to hear from you!
What else is expected when I apply?
It would be nice if you:
- have a piano or grand piano at home, but if you don't have one, that's no problem. We will then look for a location where the duo can rehearse;
- have the possibility, if the festival site cannot be reached by public transport or walking - to lend a bike;
Furthermore, as a host family, you are free to do as you please. In consultation with the participants themselves, you decide whether 'your students' will join you for dinner or prepare a meal themselves. You can also agree on other wishes, to make it an unforgettable experience for everyone. After all, musicians experience a stay with a host family as a warm embrace during strenuous and exciting days. And host families experience at first hand how the young artists undergo a tremendous development in a short period of time. These short periods regularly lead to friendships that last for years.

- A festival pass to all master classes and the presentation recital or a free ticket to the Young Artist Platform;
- a free ticket to the Opening Recital on Friday 16 May with tenor Christoph Prégardien and pianist Hans Eijsackers
- two free tickets of your choice that allow you to attend one of the other recitals
- An invitation to the traditional, convivial, closing meal.
