From Wednesday 13 to Sunday 24 May 2026, the tenth edition of International Song Festival Zeist will take place, our anniversary edition, with the theme 'Back to Nature'! Nature, the world around us, of which we are a part, the nature we can 'make' and break. Nature is also the inspiration for beautiful songs and contemporary songs, also for our school youth.
In 2026, the festival will organise another project for secondary school students: Sing your song. Join us and listen to the voice of nature with your school's students!
Purpose and target group
Sing your song is a unique project in which secondary school pupils - under the guidance of Remy Alexander, composer and music teacher - learn to compose their own song and perform it for an audience during International Song Festival Zeist in May 2026 or for an audience at their own school on a date of their choice during the school year.

The presentation of Sing your Song is on Tuesday 19 May 2026 in one of the halls of the Evangelical Brotherhood at Sister Square in Zeist, or on a date of your choice at your own school.
