‘You can hear the most beautiful liederen at International Festival Zeist’ is our motto. We want to live up to that not only now, but also in the future. Under the heading Next Generation we offer young professionals a broad programme that allows them to continue to develop and build a network. This starts with the master classes, followed by the Young Artist Platform to which every former student is invited. We also work closely with fellow festivals such as the Oxford International Song Festival and the Schubertíada Vilabertran, allowing promising musicians to gain stage experience and reach new audiences.
Over the past few years, you could experience up close how several liedduos developed and told an increasingly rich story. We have continued to follow them, because the new generation of liedduos should be cherished.
