Talent development is an important pillar of the International Song Festival Zeist.
Voor de carrières van jonge zangers en pianisten is het van doorslaggevend belang om na hun studie in ontwikkeling te blijven. De masterclass voorziet in die mogelijkheid. Jonge, (pre)professionele liedduo’s krijgen tijdens de masterclass de kans om te leren van de groten in het vak. De afgelopen jaren waren dat onder meer Robert Holl, Elly Ameling, Ann Murray, Graham Johnson, Malcolm Martineau en Julius Drake. Om de masterclass betaalbaar te houden voor jonge professionals en de kwaliteit ervan te borgen zijn extra middelen nodig. Daarvoor is het Next Generation opgericht.
The master class is an essential part of the festival, which aims to support young, promising musicians in developing their performance practice. During this intensive, multi-day interpretation course, song duos are approached as an inseparable unit. Attention is paid to technique, text interpretation, the value the music adds to the text and stage presentation. As such, the International Song Festival Zeist offers a unique working method and perspective. Participants must already have a high level before they are admitted, after a careful selection procedure.
The Young Artist Platform is the next step in supporting the careers of young singers and pianists who want to dedicate themselves to the interpretation of song. Duos who have what it takes to rise to the top will have the chance to present themselves to a professional jury and the public, and compete for two engagement prizes.
Het Fonds Next Generation is opgericht om de hoge kwaliteit van de masterclass voor de toekomst te kunnen waarborgen, het Young Artist Platform mogelijk te maken en andere aan talentontwikkeling gerelateerde activiteiten financieel te ondersteunen. Daarnaast biedt het fonds waar nodig jonge professionals, die nog aan het begin van hun carrière staan, financiële ondersteuning zodat de masterclass voor hen betaalbaar is.
Als mecenas gaat u voor een aaneengesloten periode van vijf jaar de verplichting aan jaarlijks een schenking te doen van minimaal € 500,-. Zowel particulieren als bedrijven kunnen mecenas worden. Periodieke giften zijn fiscaal aantrekkelijk, omdat ze onbeperkt in mindering kunnen worden gebracht op de inkomsten- of vennootschapsbelasting. Uw schenking wordt vastgelegd in een Overeenkomst Gift in Geld.
Met uw donatie aan het Fonds Next Generation steunt u talentvolle, jonge musici bij het verwezenlijken van hun dromen. Als dank voor uw mecenaat en uw binding met het festival nodigen wij u en uw partner uit het Young Artist Platform, het openingsrecital, alle openbare sessies van de masterclass en het presentatierecital van de deelnemers bij te wonen.

The Internationaal Lied Festival Zeist foundation is a cultural ANBI. This means that the Giving Act applies and both individuals and companies have broader tax opportunities to deduct donations.
An example
Bij een donatie aan een culturele ANBI van € 1000,- mag u in de aangifte inkomstenbelasting aangeven dat u € 1.250,- gedoneerd heeft. Over deze € 1.250,- ontvangt u dan – afhankelijk van uw inkomen – belasting terug. Over de schenking van € 1.000,- kunt u dus tot € 462,50 terugkrijgen van de fiscus, netto betaalt u daardoor slechts € 537,50.
