But you don't achieve that overnight. That's why we introduced the Young Artist Platform in 2021: an audition in which six talented duos from home and abroad present themselves to you and a jury of international musicians and programmers. It's up to them to decide who will be invited to perform at the winners' recital at a subsequent edition and get to perform at the Oxford International Song Festival.
Each edition will have its world premiere of a brand new song commissioned by us. All participating duos put together a programme that includes this obligatory work. For the 2026 Young Artist Platform, this work will be composed by young pianist Jorian van Nee.
